Itinerary

DURATION: APPROX. 4 HOURS

Pickup from the hotel (city center). The show begins at 5:00 p.m. and lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. On Thursdays and Sundays only, you will have the opportunity to watch the Cholitas Wrestlers — local women who step into the wrestling ring (in the style of Mexican lucha libre), representing a bold and unique wave of indigenous pride and feminism. The cholitas are the charming local women of La Paz, known for wearing round bowler hats and wide skirts. While you might usually see them selling goods in the local markets, during a Cholita Wrestling Match, you’ll witness a completely different and powerful side of them. Return transfer to the hotel (city center).
