You will take a tour where you will discover this wonderful city and appreciate its cultural, historical, architectural, and natural richness. The tour includes a visit to the main square “Pedro Domingo Murillo,” the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Congress, and the Government Palace (external view), the Museum of Precious Metals (closed on Sundays), and the Killi Killi viewpoint, from where you will have a panoramic view of the city of La Paz and the snow-capped Illimani Mountain. You will also see a replica of the semi-subterranean temple of Tiwanaku.
Then, we will head towards the southern part of the city, where you can observe the change in climate and housing styles, before continuing to the Valley of the Moon, a place that will challenge your imagination. It creates the sensation of being in a small lunar desert, with formations shaped by erosion that resemble volcanic craters.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to ride one of the city’s cable car lines and finish the tour by visiting the Witches’ Market, where locals buy products needed for ceremonies or rituals such as the Ch’alla and offerings to Pachamama (Mother Earth). Transfer back to the hotel.
Includes: Private transportation, mentioned visits, bilingual guide (Spanish – English), entrance to the Museum, Valley of the Moon, and cable car (2 lines).
