Day 1 … – La Paz
Arrival to La Paz city 3600 masl, where our exclusive tour guide will be waiting for you in order to explain you the detailed itinerary. Transfer to your selected hotel.
Day 2 – La Paz
Breakfast at hotel. We will start the experience tour to Tiwanaku Archaeological Temple, Antique pre-Inca archaeological city: Ceramic and Lithic Museums, Akapana Pyramid, Semi-Subterranean Temple, Kalasasaya Temple, Sun Gate and Ponce Monolite will be visited. Finally, you will visit a strategically aligned man-made terraced platform mound with a sunket court and monumental structure on top, Puma Punku Complex. Return to your hotel.
In the afternoon, continue the excursion to La Paz City Tour: Pedro Murillo Main Square, The Cathedral, Legislative Palace (outside), Precious Metals Museum (only Monday is closed) and Killi Killi Viewpoint where you will have a panoramic view of La Paz city. Then, we will visit the southern part of the city to visit the Moon Valley, impressive formations, composed mainly of clay and were created by the persistent erosion of mountains by the area’s strong winds and rains. Also, you will have the opportunity to take the Cable Car “public transportation” to visit the Witcher´s Market. Return to the hotel.
Day 3 – La Paz – Uyuni Salt Flat
Very early breakfast at hotel. Pick up and transfer to the airport to board the domestic flight to Uyuni city. Start the tour to the Train cemetery (old steam locomotives that were used to transport minerals), we will then continue the journey to the village of Colchani, where the processing of salt can be observed (drying, grinding and packaging of salt) you will also have the opportunity purchase handicrafts made of salt. Then we will be able to see the Salt mounds (first stage in processing the salt, the drying), Eyes of water (groundwater that flow to the surface), the Salt Museum built from salt and visit of the Incahuasi Island (a rocky island in the middle of the salt flat where we can observe giant cactuses, some of them are more than 100 years old, from the top you can see the salt flats in its entirety) Lunch in the sal flat. Also, you will enjoy a spectacular Sunset in Uyuni salt flat. Return to Colchani and overnight in salt hotel.
Day 4 – Uyuni Salt Flat – Pulacayo – Tomave – Uyuni
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Pulacayo city, the world’s second largest silver mine, and was founded in 1833. Continue to Tomave city, a colonial place with an impression church. Then, visit a local Hot Spring 35°C, and Warmy Kasilla lagoon (green lagoon) and Orqo Kasilla (light blue lagoon). Lunch on route. Return to Uyuni and overnight in salt hotel.
Day 5 – Uyuni Salt Flat – La Paz
Breakfast at hotel. At fixed time, transfer to the airport to board the domestic flight to La Paz city. Arrival and transfer to hotel selected hotel. Afternoon at leisure for personal activities. Overnight.
