Day 01 – La Paz Airport
Pickup from the airport and transfer to the hotel, with a guide. (Check-in 2:00 PM). INCLUDES: Private arrival transfer (with a guide).
Afterward, you will take a tour to discover this wonderful city and appreciate its cultural, historical, architectural, and natural richness. You will visit the main square “Pedro Domingo Murillo,” the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Congress, and the Government Palace (exterior view), the Museum of Precious Metals (closed on Sundays), and the Killi Killi viewpoint, which offers a panoramic view of the city of La Paz and the snow-capped Illimani mountain, as well as a replica of the semi-subterranean temple of Tiwanaku. Then, you will be transferred to the Southern Zone to see the change in climate and the architectural style of the houses before heading to Moon Valley, a place that will challenge your imagination, making you feel like you are on a small piece of the moon. Its shapes are the result of erosion and resemble volcanic craters. You will also have the opportunity to ride one of the city’s cable cars before finishing with a visit to the Witches’ Market, where locals buy products needed for ceremonies or rituals like the Ch’alla and offerings to the Pachamama (Mother Earth). Day 02 – La Paz – Uyuni
Breakfast at the hotel. Pickup from the hotel and private transfer to the airport to board the flight to the city of Uyuni, without a guide. Upon arrival in Uyuni, transfer to the office, without a guide. At the agreed-upon time, you will visit the Train Cemetery in Uyuni. Afterward, you’ll visit the town of Colchani to see the manual salt processing, the salt artisan market, and shops with llama and alpaca wool textiles, hats, and ponchos. You’ll also see the salt mounds, salt water eyes, the Dakar Rally monument, the world flag plaza, and the first salt hotel (now a museum-restaurant), where lunch will be held if it is cold and windy. You’ll visit the giant salt structures: the salt staircase (also called the stairway to heaven), the salt pyramid, the salt clock, the salt hand, and the salt condor. A picnic lunch will be set up on the salt flat with colored tablecloths and pillows (weather permitting). After lunch, you will visit Incahuasi Island, which is characterized by its giant cacti, where you will take a walk to the top of the island to get a full view of the salt flat. On the way back, you will stop to take perspective photos and videos, enjoy a sunset with red wine and snacks, and then head to the hotel.

Day 03 -Uyuni – Colchani
Breakfast at the hotel. You’ll visit the town of Coquesa and its local attractions, ascending by vehicle to the volcano viewpoint at 4,400 meters above sea level to observe the Coquesa chullpas. If you wish, you can climb Thunupa volcano (OPTIONAL). You’ll descend from the volcano to see flamingos in the wetlands and take photos with a mirror effect. Lunch will be a picnic. You’ll visit giant salt structures before heading back to the hotel.

Day 04 -Colchani – Desert
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you will pass through San Cristóbal and visit the Valley of Rocks, as well as the Ollague Volcano viewpoint (5,865 meters above sea level), where you can observe the fumarolic activity emanating from the active volcano. You’ll see high-altitude lagoons, such as Cañapa, Hedionda, Honda, Chiarcota, and Ramaditas, which are used by flamingos as feeding and resting points during their migratory movements. Afterward, you will head to the hotel.

Day 05 – Desert – Hito Cajón – San Pedro de Atacama
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you will visit the Siloli Desert, where you’ll find the Stone Tree, a geomorphic formation created by wind erosion. You’ll visit the Red Lagoon, which is the gateway to the Eduardo Abaroa Reserve, the Geysers, the hot springs in Polques, and the Salvador Dalí rocks. You’ll continue toward the Licancabur Volcano viewpoint to see the Green Lagoon, and for the last attraction, you’ll visit the White Lagoon. At the Hito Cajones border, you will transfer vehicles and be taken to your hotel in the center of San Pedro de Atacama (without a guide).

Day 06 – San Pedro de Atacama – HD Moon Valley – Astronomy Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. In the afternoon, you will visit Moon Valley. In the middle of the profound aridity of the Salt Mountain Range, you will find a landscape of salt and clay sculpted by water and wind over millions of years. During the tour, you will enjoy the beauty of the mountain range’s extravagant shapes, which invite imagination and reflection with their tranquility. The tour will end by watching the sunset, which will provide a wonderful, colorful conclusion to the excursion. Later, you’ll take a night tour for a guided observation of the Atacama Desert sky. From basic aspects of stellar study to the telescope experience, the visit will allow you to understand the details of the southern hemisphere sky in an illustrative way. Thanks to the observatory’s location outside the light pollution of the town, the experience will be even more surprising. The activity is divided into 3 stations: Andean Cosmovision, Photography, and star observation. Each has a duration of 30 minutes. Overnight stay.

Day 07 -San Pedro de Atacama – FD High-Altitude Lagoons & Red Rocks
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, you will depart from the hotel to visit the flamingo reserve, passing through the high-altitude lagoons, and ending at the oxidized volcanic lava of the red rocks. The tour will offer several stops, each more incredible than the last, and you’ll learn about the local flora and fauna. Overnight stay.

Day 08 – San Pedro de Atacama – FD Salt Flats Route
Breakfast at the hotel. Today’s journey will take you to over 4,300 meters above sea level, where the immensity of the landscape allows for the observation of volcanoes, wildlife, and salt flats within a unique geological context. Your first stop will be in front of the Licancabur volcano, where you will have breakfast. Continuing along the same route, you will stop in front of the Quepiaco wetland, where it’s possible to see birds and typical local fauna. The next stop will be at the Monks of Pacana, where you can observe various rock formations resulting from volcanic activity. Then, you’ll head to the farthest point: the Quisquiro Salt Flat, where you will learn about the formation of this salt deposit. Finally, weather permitting, lunch will be served in front of the Aguas Calientes II Salt Flat. If the conditions don’t allow it due to wind, the guide will find the best option for a peaceful lunch. Overnight stay.

Day 09 – San Pedro de Atacama – FD Tatio Geysers – Transfer Out
Your trip to the highlands begins early in the morning to reach one of the most important geothermal fields in the world, the Tatio Geysers. Surrounded by emissions of water and steam, you’ll enjoy the beauty of the Andes, and with this natural scenery, you’ll be offered a restorative breakfast. On the way back to San Pedro de Atacama, you can enjoy the beauty of the landscape and the native flora and fauna, making a final stop in the town of Machuca. This village of llama shepherds, with its adobe, straw, and cactus wood houses, is now dedicated to tourism, offering local products such as Andean crafts, llama meat, sopaipillas, and empanadas. At the scheduled time, you’ll be transferred to the Calama airport to take your flight to your next destination.
